Here I was again. The place that I knew oh so well. If you were to ask me where it was though, I couldn't tell you. Looking around it was always dark, but there was a light far off in the distance. It was far enough away that it was barely even noticeable. All around me were these shards of broken mirrors. Inside I could see my own reflection, but the expression on my face was different in each one. In some I looked happy, others angry, but the ones that were most common were the ones where I looked sad.
This wasn't your normal sad though. Some people are sad because a puppy died or they got a black iPhone instead of a white one for Christm

I'm just a nobody trying to get better at drawing. It's the only thing that keeps me from getting depressed even though I know I suck. I'm currently trying to do at least one character a day for now to try and get better.

Okay, this time I'm being serious. I'm going to take a long break from posting anything until I'm at a place where I'm happy with the things I draw. Even if it means that I don't post anything for over a year. I may still post some things if I feel I've made a little improvement, but not nearly at the same frequency as I have lately.
I'm going to just practice and study and practice and study. I'm sure no one will actually read this, but I'm putting it up just as a reminder for myself.
I'm making a decision to try to copy someone else's style and characters to evolve my own style some. I just don't know what I want to do. I'm think of trying to draw some persona characters, and I wanted to know which characters people would want me to try, that isn't a living empty teddy bear costume.
All of my pictures always look so lifeless after the initial sketch. The sketch itself will look fine, but when I draw the solid lines over it the character just looks so flat. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and all of the tutorials I try to find on google are complete garbage. Why does doing this have to be so hard? T_T If anyone reads this and knows where decent guidelines for hair, clothing wrinkles, and how to ink a hand drawn sketch to not look flat please let me know. I'm literally at my wits end.
yooo dube do u know this visual novel called saya no uta?? i believe its called that and i watched the first part of it and it seems like the same gore level as corpse party and p good so far. pretty messed up and apparently has some sex scenes later?? idk man
